Đuro Macut

Prime Minister — Serbia

Country momentum 0 — Quarterly momentum: the Bureau's read on the country's trajectory over the last quarter, from −10 (deteriorating fast) to +10 (accelerating).

• Technocrat premier under Vučić's presidency — the real power sits across the street.
• Kept growth steady and the EU path nominally open while balancing Brussels, Moscow and Beijing.
• Serbia's multi-vector game — Russian gas, Chinese loans, EU funds — still pays.
• Democratic-backsliding charges persist; the 2024-25 protest wave forced concessions but no change at the top.
