Advertise with the Bureau

The people who move markets, negotiate treaties, and allocate capital start their day with us. Put your brand where power is studied.

The audience

Our readers are not scrolling for distraction. They are investors, executives, diplomats, founders, and analysts — people whose decisions move money and policy. They read in English and French, on every continent, and they read to the end.

Attention like that cannot be bought in bulk. It can only be earned — and we have earned it.

The reach

  • Two full editions — English and French — published daily, morning and evening.
  • Four Google News publications — English, French, US, and UK — carrying our reporting into the world's largest news audience.
  • Flagship investigations — deep, documented dossiers on the forces that run the world, read by the people who shape them.
  • Seventeen voices — columnists on every continent, arguing with sharp elbows and loyal followings.
  • The Sovereign Factbook — our country intelligence reference, consulted as a working tool, not a curiosity.

The formats

  • Display — premium placements across the paper, clearly separated from editorial, never intrusive.
  • Sponsored dossiers — deep, Bureau-grade features on the industries you lead — labeled as partnerships, held to our standard.
  • The morning brief — the newsletter, in inboxes before the markets open.
  • Investigation patronage — stand behind a flagship investigation. Presented by — your name beside the deepest reporting we publish.

Why this context

An advertisement beside intelligence is read differently than an advertisement beside outrage. We publish no clickbait, no outrage farming, no noise. Your brand appears in a room where the conversation is serious — and serious rooms are where premium brands belong.

We take on a small number of partners. Editorial independence is absolute: no partner reviews, softens, or sees a story before it publishes. Ever.

Editorial standards

The same rules bind every page of the Bureau — including this one. What we promise every reader, in both languages:

Independence

No advertiser, government, or funder tells us what to publish. Advertising on the Bureau is clearly labeled and kept strictly separate from editorial decisions — a sponsor cannot buy a headline, soften a paragraph, or kill a story. Our correspondents answer to the facts and to the reader, in that order.

The three lenses

Power looks different depending on where you stand. Every major story the Bureau publishes is examined through three perspectives — how it reads in the West, how it reads in the East, and how it reads across the Global South. Our correspondents are chosen from many countries precisely so no single vantage point goes unchallenged — including, when the facts demand it, the vantage point of their own side.

Sourcing

  • Contested claims require at least two independent sources before publication.
  • Primary documents — contracts, filings, treaties, datasets — are preferred over secondhand accounts, and linked wherever possible.
  • Anonymous sources are used sparingly, only when the information cannot be obtained on the record and the source’s motives have been weighed. What an anonymous source asserts is always corroborated.

News and opinion, never confused

The daily feed is straight news: verified facts, plain language, no editorializing. Voices is the opposite by design — signed opinion columns where each writer argues a position with the gloves off. Opinion pieces are labeled as such and never presented as news.

Respect

We report on faith, culture, and belief factually and without mockery. We do not publish what demeans people for what they hold sacred.

Corrections

When we err, we say so — publicly and promptly. See our Corrections Policy.
