Why it matters

Too early for a record; mandate rests on the electoral alternation itself and pledges to tackle cost of living.
Tourism-driven recovery solid; debt high but managed; growth ~5% pre-2026 with euro peg anchoring stability.
High literacy and diaspora links; government pledges youth employment programs, delivery pending.
Strong EU/Portugal ties, US partnership (AMTRA), ECOWAS member with euro-pegged currency; continuity expected.
