Rob Jetten

Prime Minister — Netherlands

Country momentum 0 — Quarterly momentum: the Bureau's read on the country's trajectory over the last quarter, from −10 (deteriorating fast) to +10 (accelerating).

• Formed a workable minority government after a fragmented vote — governing without a majority is itself the feat.
• CPB projects 1.4% growth in 2026; the labour market is tight; growth modest but real.
• A liberal internationalist holding the line against populism — the UNGA debut marked the outward turn.
• The debit: a minority government's reforms die in committee — ambition capped by arithmetic.
