Norinco of Beijing is China’s land-weapons giant — $20.6B in arms revenue in 2023 (SIPRI), ninth in the world. It makes the VT-4 main battle tank, the SH-15 truck-mounted howitzer, vast artillery and ammunition lines, and small arms — arming the PLA and export customers from Pakistan to Africa and the Middle East.
